D&I Work Group at PyCon APAC
Our CEO Iqbal Abdullah will be a panelist for the D&I Work Group Greet and Meet session at PyCon APAC this weekend. The other panelists who will be joining us are Sayatinka Banik, Christian Heimes, Georgi Ker and Tereza Iofciu, PhD.
What is the D&I Work Group?
In a nutshell, the D&I Work Group is a working group within the Python Software Foundation (PSF) that aims to help formulate ideas, create strategies and execute them to increase diversity and inclusion within the PSF Board of Directors specifically and the bigger Python community generally.

What is PyCon APAC?
PyCon APAC is a yearly conference that aims to get Python developers and users within the Asia Pacific region together to discuss, showcase and share their work using the the Python programming language. The conference contents are not limited to technical subjects, but are wide ranging from social to even health issues that affect the community. For 2021, PyCon APAC is hosted by our friend from Thailand, PyCon TH.

The Python Software Foundation (PSF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in the US and holds the intellectual property rights behind the Python programming language. We at LaLoka Labs work closely with the good people within the PSF and the larger Python community, and occasionally contribute our time, knowledge and money to open-source projects and conferences related to Python or supported by the PSF.
